Good spot for Clanwilliam Yellows, bass and bluegill in the Doring river, Tankwa Karoo
Bit of a kak dirt road, so deflate your tyres and make sure you have water.
Tankwa farmstall a good stop for a drink, but the avoid the food and coffee.
For take-aways, Ceres fisheries on main road has excellent fish and chips, and Amazing Pies, well, make amazing pies.
This place can get busy and very noisy.
Even better is Karmedo River Lodge about 30Km downstream, but less Clannies
