Chenille Ultra Standard Hareline
A velvety chenille with a nylon core which is popular for extended bodies. To avoid unravelling burn the ends indirectly. In other words, dont apply a flame directly as you could burn off too much. Rather heat up and old bodkin and use that to 'cut' the material.
Use it for tying quick bodies on flies like a wooly bugger, legs and claws on saltwater patterns
Used in many fly patterns from fresh to saltwater, it is durable and available in many colours. It is manufactured of fine fibres on a twisted core.
A staple product in every fly tying desk.
Chenille Ultra Standard Hareline is approx. 2.5mm in diameter and 4,5m in a pack.
For a smaller product, see the Fishient or Hareline Micro Chenilles.
