Fly Tying Hannibal Mask

Fly Tying Hannibal Mask for brush flies and other baitfish imitations.

There are two ways of using the Hannibal Mask
1. Insert mask over the eye of hook before you make your final turn of the brush material.
This will give your baitfish fly a realistic puffed up head that won't flatten out in the water and will keep the shape of the fly.
2. Insert mask last after completing the fly.
This will cause turbulence around the head and also help keep the hook gape free of material for better hookups.

Sizing Chart: We recommend Ahrex Hooks for your Fly Tying Hannibal Mask.
Best are SA220 and SA270, but they can also be used on the shorter SA280 Minnow hooks
