Hanak Indicator Line Spool monofilament is clearly visible in all lighting conditions. It is very soft with minimal memory.
It is mainly used for the the sighter/indicator portion of European or Czech nymphing leaders. Also for with greased line, or horizontal nymph fishing.

With greased line nymphing you can explore areas of weak current, or where fishing with a raised rod is difficult. Make up your leader with a long fluorescent tippet, which you grease to float on the surface. This can support a light nymph. Put a greased micro loop at the end. The point tippet is usually 1.5 times the depth of the water. A take is detected when the tip of the leader dips into the water.
