Rooster Tails and Schlappen

SCHLAPPEN are the hackles from between the Saddle and tail of the rooster.
They are long and wide and a good choice for classic salmon or saltwater flies.
They are softer than the rooster tails.
Please note that TAN colour is Strung Chinese Saddle Hackle

ROOSTER TAILS are exactly what is says, tail feathers from a cock, or cocktail feathers!
They are longer and a bit stiffer than Schlappen Feathers
